Castle Of Sao Jorge, Lisbon View

In the twelfth century, King Afonso Henriques decided to build a castle in the hills of San Jorge, Lisbon, where he had a magnificent view of the city.
Today, tourists can visit the ruins of the castle of St. George (Castelo de Sao Jorge in Portuguese), also known as the Moorish Castle. Besides the castle, inside the walls is Santa Cruz, which can also be visited.
